Three mums and their children from Broadheath Primary School battled against hailstones and driving rain to complete the Gung Ho 5K at Heaton Park.
Kim Burns and daughter Ava, Claire Fox and sons James and Thomas and Sarah Thomason gave it their all to complete the course, which was verging on dangerous in the conditions.
The course is a 5K run full of giant inflatable obstacles which competitors can either go under, over or through.
