Louise Duerr, owner of GIFT+HOME on Ashley Road, has just opened a shop focused entirely on dog products called Hounds of Hale.
She still owned the lease for the Millfield Court unit off Victoria Road – the former home of her gift and home interiors shop – so decided to launch a second Hale business.
But with GIFT+HOME enjoying a hugely successful launch at its new location next door to Costa Coffee, Louise is now looking for someone with more time on their hands to take on the business and exploit its “huge potential”.
She said: “With Hounds of Hale now up and running I would like to focus my attentions back with GIFT+HOME.
“I am therefore now in the position to offer this unique opportunity. Having set up businesses from scratch I know how hard it is, I also know that many people would love their own business.

Louise said that the Hounds of Hale unit has room for further expansion – such as a grooming parlour – and there’s the opportunity to work with other dog businesses to become the “one-stop shop for all dog owners in Hale and the surrounding areas”.
