The fixture list has been released for the coming football season – and even though Altrincham FC have returned to life in Vanarama National League North, they have some tasty fixtures to look forward.
Particularly eye-catching is the Christmas period double-header against FC United of Manchester – at home at Moss Lane on Boxing Day, and then an immediate return, at Broadhurst on New Year’s Day.
Other local derbies include Stockport County on Saturday September 3rd and Salford City – owned by Manchester United’s Class of ’92 – at home on Saturday November 12th.
The Robins start their campaign with a home clash against Darlington on Saturday August 6th.
