Several big name retailers are interested in taking over the renovated former New Look and C&A unit in the Stamford Quarter, Altrincham Today can reveal.
We understand that representatives for the Stamford Quarter are currently in negotiations with a number of high-street names with a view to securing one or perhaps two tenants for the site. Fashion retailers are the preferred tenants.
The three-storey, 40,000 sq ft unit is a sought-after unit once again after considerable investment from the Stamford Quarter’s owners, with renovation work lasting many months.
The work is now not far off completion and the unit should be released back to the Stamford Quarter over the next week.
The owners have been marketing the unit to potential suitors for 12 months now as it continues a significant upgrade of a number of its prime Altrincham buildings, including the former McDonalds and Pizza Hut units on Cross Street and Stamford New Road.
