A 70-year-man suffered serious facial injuries after a motorist attacked him outside his home after a suspected road rage incident in Altrincham.
A row broke out between the victim and another motorist on Woodlands Road at 7.40pm on Tuesday evening.
The pensioner was then followed to his home in the Broomedge area of Lymm, where he was assaulted.
He was subsequently taken to Wythenshawe Hospital and treated for serious facial injuries.
A 47-year-old man has now been arrested and charged with assault.
