Iconic Altrincham restaurant Francs has announced its closure after 24 years in business.
The Goose Green restaurant, a much-loved fixture of the town’s dining scene, posted a message confirming the news in its window and thanking customers “from all the management and staff”.
Francs had been closed since September 18th but it had assured customers that it would be reopening, firstly by late September and then by mid-October.
Clearly, however, it has decided to shut for good, and will be a sad loss to many of its customers.
