Police are investigating an attempted child abduction outside St Ambrose College in Hale Barns.
An 11-year-old boy was on Hale Road close to the school when was approached by a man in a van at around 3.25pm yesterday afternoon, October 12th.
The man said “get in the van” to the boy through the driver’s window, police said.
He was driving a flatbed van and is described as black, in his 30s, with dark hair in a quiff style, with rotten or missing teeth.
Police said that an investigation was underway and high visibility patrols were in place around the local area.
