Man arrested in connection with Broadheath opticians raid

A man has been arrested in connection with a raid on H&H Eyecare in Broadheath on Monday.

A man has been arrested in connection with a raid on H&H Eyecare in Broadheath on Monday.

Three masked men ransacked the Draybank Road store in the early hours of Monday morning, stealing thousands of pounds of frames and sunglasses.

Police have today confirmed that a 33-year-old male has now been identified and detained.

He has been bailed until Friday 25th November pending further enquiries.

Anyone with information about the crime should contact the police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
