Police officers will be distributing hampers for local vulnerable and deserving residents this Christmas – but they need your help.
Following last year’s successful appeal, GMP Trafford South have launched a new campaign to help out the less fortunate people in the area.
You can help by donating food items (with long best before dates) including soup, tinned veg, tinned meats, confectionery, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, selection boxes, jams and marmalades.
Officers are also asking for hats and gloves.
Items should be brought to the front desk of Altrincham Police Station on Barrington Road from Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm.
Police are hoping to deliver the hampers during the second week of December.
