Two people were injured in a two-car collision in Timperley last night.
Police were called to the scene of a crash at the junction of Shaftesbury Road with Thorley Lane at 7.20pm.
Significant damage had been caused to the two cars involved but the passengers escaped with only minor injuries.
GMP Traffic tweeted: “Patrols are dealing with an RTC on Shaftesbury Ave in #Timperly. Luckily only minor injuries.”
