Burglars rammed the gates of a house with a stolen car during a robbery in Hale Barns over the weekend.
Offenders gained entry to the Chapel Lane property at 8.05pm on Saturday by smashing a ground floor window and searching the property.
They then took the keys to a black BMW 320 – registration number R1 WGJ – which they used to smash open the gates to escape.
The car is still outstanding.
Police have asked for anyone with information about the crime to report it to them on 101 or to ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
