The producer behind Oasis’s legendary debut album is to return to The Green Room this Sunday after a sell-out performance last year.
Mark Coyle, who produced the Manchester band’s first record Definitely Maybe, will be appearing at the Goose Green venue for a special “An Evening With…”
The event, which starts at 8pm on Sunday April 16th, will cap off a run of four nights of live music that start tomorrow, Thursday April 13th.
Jake Cullen, manager of The Green Room, said Coyle’s DJ set went down a storm in December.
He said: “Mark is rock and roll royalty and went down a storm when he played his debut here last year. He played over 50 songs from the 60s to now with of course the obligatory Oasis singalongs thrown in.”
He also spent over an hour talking with fans about his days on the road with Oasis after sharing his stories in the recent Supersonic documentary.
The live music long weekend gets under way with Open Mic night from 8pm tomorrow, while Friday night will be all about the 60s with the crowd-pleasing Jailbirds and The Henry Revue taking to the stage with their reggae beats on Saturday.
“As always, it’s a free music weekend for all with no tickets required but we are expecting a busy one so please get in nice and early,” added Cullen.
