A girl is recovering after being involved in a collision with a car in Hale yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened close to Stamford Park at the junction of Queen’s Road and Stamford Park Road.
Emergency services were called out at 3.40pm and a number of vehicles attended the scene.
It’s understood the girl – who was aged under 13 – suffered a head injury but was speaking with officers at the scene and her condition is not thought to be serious.
She was taken to hospital and police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
Police were unable to provide any further details about the vehicle involved.
