Radio 5 live presenter George Riley is to host a special ‘Sports Question Time’ from Timperley Sports Club, alongside stars including Dame Sarah Storey and Trevor Sinclair.
The event takes place at 7pm on Wednesday 28th June and will see the audience pose the questions for a panel of international sporting legends.
The line-up includes:
- Dame Sarah Storey – 14 time Gold Medallist in the Paralympic games at Beijing, London and Rio
- John Wilkin – GB & England Rugby League international and St Helens Captain
- Fran Halsall – Olympian & Commonwealth gold medallist swimming champion
- Trevor Sinclair – England and Man City footballer
John Allen, Timperley Sports Club’s secretary, said: “This promises to be a great event with a lively and interesting sporting debate. We’re delighted to be welcoming George Riley and some well-known personalities from the world of sport to the club. We expect this to be a sell-out event so to avoid disappointment we recommend booking tickets early.”
