Running and fitness retailer realbuzz has opened its fourth UK store on George Street in Altrincham.
realbuzz Altrincham is the town’s only specialist running and fitness store and offers the latest footwear, clothing and accessories from major brands including Nike, adidas, ASICS, Brooks, Mizuno and Saucony.
The Chester-based company has existing stores in Wigan, Chester and Solihull, and is planning to open more in the North West before the end of the year.
Tim Rogers, chairman of The Realbuzz Group, said: “We’re hugely excited to be opening a realbuzz store in Altrincham.
“Altrincham is home to runners and fitness enthusiasts of all ability levels, and it’s about time they had a local retailer to support their passion.
“No two realbuzz stores are the same. Every single one of our locations is shaped by the community around it. We’ll soon be setting up weekly social run meet-ups that set off from the store, as well as offering discounts to local running clubs, gyms and physiotherapists.”
The store carries a wide range of stock from leading brands, ranging from running shoes and clothing, to activewear and fitness accessories. Rogers, who has himself completed over 70 marathons and is a former world record holder for running the fastest time for an official marathon on all seven continents, is highly involved in the product selection process.
“We’re runners ourselves, so our whole product range is tried and tested. This puts us in a unique position to be able to recommend running and fitness equipment to our customers,” he said.
Customers come first at realbuzz Altrincham, with an ethos based around unrivaled levels of customer service that sets the store apart.
“We like to do things differently from the ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach of other running and fitness retailers. Our consultative process takes a wide range of factors into account, including ability level, training frequency, running style and goals.
“We’ve also got a Dunham-Massey inspired treadmill area where customers are welcome to give products a test drive,” Rogers added.
