A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after a collision with a car in Timperley.
Emergency services were called to the incident just after 1.10pm on Friday October 27th.
The biker was in a collision with a Mitsubishi Outlander on Shaftesbury Avenue, with the section between Thorley Lane and Aimson Road East closed off for several hours as a result.
He was taken to hospital where he remains.
The incident caused severe congestion in the area, with the road eventually reopened by 6pm on Friday evening.
