The body of a man has been discovered at an address in Altrincham.
Police were called by the ambulance service at 8.25 this morning to reports that a body had been found at a block of flats on Urban Avenue.
It’s understood the body was found inside the property but not in a particular flat.
The area has been cordoned off by police and numerous vehicles are at the scene.
A refuse collection lorry that was collecting at the time the body was found has been contained within the cordon.
Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death are ongoing.
