A new residential and retail development in Altrincham town centre has been completed and sold by a Cheshire-based developer.
Bradbury House, at 39 Stamford New Road, is a first Altrincham project for Quinta Group.
It comprises five residential units across 2,800 sq ft and one 1,050 sq ft ground-floor retail unit, including basement, the latter having been taken on a 10-year lease by local business Sew Creative.
All residential units are fully sold to Lomond Capital, an investment fund operating in the private rented sector (PRS) market.
The building, which was named after Captain Edward Kinder Bradbury who was awarded the Victoria Cross in the First World War, has been sympathetically restored to retain its historical features.
Alexander Clarke, director of Quinta Group, said: “Bradbury House is a striking Victorian building and, as our first project in Altrincham, we are delighted with the end result and subsequent demand from our new residential and commercial tenants.
“Altrincham has undergone a vibrant transformation in recent years; we are proud to be part of the wider regeneration of the town and look forward to breathing life into future developments in the area.”
The commercial letting was handled by Altrincham-based property consultant, Regional Property Solutions.
Kate Proctor, owner of Sew Creative, said: “I am delighted to be moving to bigger premises in the heart of Altrincham. We have something for everyone at Sew Creative from the absolute beginner to the most advanced and we can’t wait to welcome customers to our new home.”
