Ringway Golf Club has unveiled a high-tech refurbishment of its bar and entertainment areas.

Ringway Golf Club has unveiled a high-tech refurbishment of its bar and entertainment areas.

The 650-member Hale Barns club, originally founded in 1909, has redesigned the bar and dining areas on the first floor of its clubhouse.

Members, staff and guests marked the official opening of the new facilities with a launch evening last Friday featuring Champagne, canapés and a jazz trio.

The new facilities have a capacity to hold 150 guests and can be hired for external functions.

Ringway’s President, Judith Wainwright, said: “We are delighted to launch our fantastic new bar, lounge and restaurant. We’re sure that the visitors who hire our clubhouse for family celebrations and all of our members will love the new features.”

Club Captain Clive Westbrook added: “This is a big step forward for the club with all of the main areas of the clubhouse redesigned in an attractive, modern style and with great new features such as full air conditioning and up-to-date audio-visual facilities.”
