A man has fallen to his death in Altrincham town centre.
Police were called to Brewery Street at 12.50pm this afternoon to reports that a man had fallen.
Officers have now confirmed that the man sadly died at the scene. They are not treating his death as suspicious.
There are currently no further details about the man but it’s understood he was found close to the rear entrance to Debenhams, in the trade area between the businesses on George Street and Stamford New Road.
A heavy police presence remained around Brewery Street and Cross Street for several hours after the incident.
