A plan has been submitted to turn office space above Wilko store in Altrincham town centre into 12 flats.
Lunar, which owns the Stamford Quarter development that Wilko forms part of, has submitted an application to change the use of the building from office to residential.
It is planning to convert the office space on the first floor, above the store, into 10 two-bedroom and two one-bedroom flats.
The space currently spreads between Sunningdale House, which has access off George Street, and Kingfisher House, which fronts on to Stamford New Road.
Lunar is working with Pozzoni on the plans.
The move follows in the recent trend of developers in Altrincham converting office space to residential across the town centre.
