A man from Timperley is among five men who have been charged in connection with a number of armed robberies around Greater Manchester and Cheshire.
Christopher Burke, 34, of Greenwood Close, has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
He was remanded in custody to appear today before Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court.
The other four men charged are Michael Burke, 38, from Stretford, Daniel Adamson, 33, from Sale, Robert Lewis, 45, from Stretford, and Connor Kedie, 21, from Sale.
All have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
The charges relate to 29 armed robberies across Greater Manchester and Cheshire between May and November this year.
