The family of a 42-year-old man who died in a collision at a junction near Dunham Massey have paid tribute to a “devoted husband, dad, son, brother and friend”.
Robert Eaves was cycling close to the junction of Dunham Road, Paddock Lane and Warburton Lane when he was hit by a Red Ford Tourneo Connect at around 7.30am on Monday 25th May.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries but died the next morning.
Robert’s family has now released a statement paying tribute.
It reads: “Rob was a devoted husband, dad, son, brother and friend.
“He was selfless, kind and dedicated to his family and work. His enthusiasm for work was shown by his amazing career, where he was one of the most valued members of every team.
“Rob had always been a family man that loved finding new adventures; one being moving to Switzerland where the family lived a fun-filled life, and making friends from all different nationalities.”
