A five-bedroom house in Hale Barns has been revealed to be one of the most-viewed properties on Rightmove in 2022.
The property on Chapel Lane, which is still on the market with Gascoigne Halman, is the fourth most-viewed home on the popular property website this year.
Described as “individually designed and immaculately presented”, the detached house has four reception rooms, five double bedrooms and five bath/shower rooms.
It also features a cinema room, play room, gym, secure gated entrance, attached double garage and south-facing, landscaped gardens extending to over half an acre.
The 7,115 sq ft home is on the market for a punchy £4.25million. It had originally been listed earlier in the year for £4.45m but reduced in May to its currrent price. The previous house on the plot was sold in 2006 for £1,175m.
The most-viewed home of the year was a country estate in the Cotswolds that featured in the BBC adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice.
The Grade II-listed home comes with 19 acres of grassland and is on the market for £5m.
An ultra-modern detached property in North London is second on the list, on the market for an eye-watering £35m, with a five-bedroom seafront house in Cornwall third, at a list price of £4m.
