Altrincham has secured Purple Flag status for the third year running, cementing its reputation as one of the region's leading destinations for a night out.
The prestigious accreditation, often likened to the Blue Flag awarded to beaches, recognises towns and city centres that excel between 5pm and 5am.
It highlights places offering a diverse mix of entertainment, dining and culture while prioritising safety and accessibility.
Judges praised the town's strong partnership working and singled out the refurbishment of Move Altrincham as a standout feature, noting the leisure centre has become a major community asset supporting both daytime and evening activity.
BID Manager Mandy White said: "This award is a real testament to the hard work and collaboration of the Purple Flag working group and the many venues whose dedication helps make Altrincham such a fantastic town.
"The judges were consistently impressed by the professionalism, knowledge and enthusiasm shown across the town. Thank you to everyone involved for helping to make Altrincham such a safe, welcoming and vibrant place to enjoy day and night."
