A Timperley man has been jailed for 20 months after sexually assaulting three women in Manchester.
Nisan Kurukulasuriya, 39, of Troutbeck Road, was sentenced at Manchester Crown Court on Tuesday, September 15, having previously pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault and one count of outraging public decency.
The offences took place on two separate dates.
On October 20 last year, Kurukulasuriya sexually assaulted two women in Manchester.
On April 20 this year, he committed a sexual act while touching a woman’s leg on a train at Manchester Piccadilly station. He also sexually assaulted a woman at the station that day.
Alongside his prison sentence, Kurukulasuriya was given a 10-year sexual harm prevention order.
The order bans him from sitting next to any woman he does not know on public transport. It also prohibits him from having unsupervised contact with a girl under 18 without parental consent.
