An Altrincham beauty business that began in a rented salon space has launched a new partnership with LOOKFANTASTIC, bringing its products and treatments to the retailer’s Altrincham store.
The George Street store reopened yesterday after a two-week closure for a revamp, with a new Brows by Sarah clinic among the additions.
Founded by brow specialist Sarah Fogg in 2016, Brows by Sarah is offering semi-permanent ombré brows and lip blush treatments at the in-store clinic, alongside a selection of its own beauty products.
A two-day VIP launch began yesterday and continues today, Saturday October 10th, with celebrity clients including Coronation Street’s Sue Cleaver and Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe among those attending.
The partnership is the latest expansion for the business, which has grown from its Altrincham roots to include five clinics, a brow product range and a training academy.
Sarah, who still lives and works in Altrincham, said: “I’m beyond proud! I started Brows by Sarah renting a little space in a beauty salon, then grew my client base, took the leap and opened my own clinic.
“To be launching inside the LOOKFANTASTIC store, one of the biggest and best loved names in beauty, is pretty amazing, and the fact it’s happening right here in my hometown, where I still live and work, makes it even more special.”
Sarah specialises in cosmetic tattooing and is known for her signature ombré brows, a technique designed to create a soft, subtly defined finish.
Her clients have included actresses Suranne Jones, Tina O’Brien and Brooke Vincent, as well as presenters Olivia Attwood and Jenny Powell.
Alongside its flagship Altrincham clinic, Brows by Sarah now has a presence in London, Warrington, Liverpool and North Manchester, with further openings planned for 2027.
Sarah has also established Alpha Academy, which trains new brow artists and offers advanced masterclasses for existing professionals.
She said: “Brows By Sarah is also the first semi-permanent make-up artistry brand to offer treatments within a LOOKFANTASTIC store, which is a massive moment for me and my team. I can’t wait to introduce Brows by Sarah to a whole new audience.”
LOOKFANTASTIC’s beauty range includes more than 660 brands, including MAC, Kérastase and YSL.
Customers at its Altrincham store can now shop Brows by Sarah products including brow gels, pencils, nourishing brow wax and brushes, as well as book treatments at the new clinic.
Sarah added: “I want people to come and meet us and experience what Brows by Sarah is all about.
“Whether they’ve followed us for years or have never touched a brow product before, if they come to the store we will help them find what works for them, and hopefully have a really good time while we’re doing it.”
