Two people were taken to hospital after a crash involving two cars in Hale Barns yesterday.
Emergency services were called to Hale Road at 12.21pm yesterday and the road was blocked in both directions for around half an hour, with traffic queuing between Shay Lane and Broad Lane.
The condition of the two people who were two people taken to hospital is not yet clear.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 12.27pm on Monday, 21 December, to reports of a road traffic collision on Hale Road, in Hale Barns.
“Fire engines from Altrincham and Wythenshawe stations, as well as the Technical Response Unit from Ashton, quickly attended the scene.
“The collision involved two vehicles. Fire crews made the scene safe and were in attendance for around 30 minutes.”
