Trafford Tuition has announced the return of its Academic and Creative Summer School for 2025, with an expanded three-week schedule.
The summer school, led by trained head teacher Tom Silver NPQH, will once again be hosted at Oldfield Brow Primary School in Altrincham.
This year's school will run across three weeks: August 11-15, August 18-22 and August 26-29 (a four-day week due to the bank holiday).
The school is open for children in Years 3 - 6, with daily sessions now running from 8:30am to 5:15pm, extending the previous year's 9am-4pm schedule.
Designed primarily to help children prepare for the 11 plus exams, the summer school received glowing reviews after its 2024 launch.
Last year, an impressive 90% of Year 5 students who attended the school went on to pass their 11 plus test.
"The summer holidays are a long time for children to be away from the classroom and our school aims to reduce that impact and ensure children are ready for the new school year," said Silver, who is currently a deputy head at a Greater Manchester school.

The program offers specialised courses including 'Final 11+ Prep' for Year 5 students, '11+ Beginnings' for Years 3 and 4, and a 'Secondary Ready' course for Year 6 pupils.
Each day balances academic work with creative activities including pottery, coding classes, creative writing sessions with visiting children's authors, sports coaching and art.
Parents who enrolled their children in last year's school praised its structure and approach.
One Google review stated: "The summer school was amazing! My child had an enjoyable week. The course was well-structured and the teachers were dedicated in the teaching. Would definitely recommend!"
The school is fully Ofsted registered and accepts payments from tax-free childcare accounts. Parents can reserve a space with a non-refundable £80 deposit, with both day and weekly rates available.

A Designated Safeguarding Lead will be on site at all times during the summer school.
Tom Silver added: "Oldfield Brow Primary School is the perfect place to host our summer school as we have access to its excellent facilities. Being based in the school is a big advantage - it's a really nice environment with all the mod cons and facilities you would want."
