A Hale business leader is launching a major new initiative aimed at empowering the next generation of leaders.

Nawal Arshad will unveil her 'Leaders of Our Future' programme at a launch event in Manchester next month, bringing together educators, business leaders and young people to address what she calls a "pressing challenge" in youth development.

The move comes as latest reports from Forbes and the OECD reveal that critical thinking, resilience and leadership skills - currently absent from the national curriculum - will be essential for workforce survival by 2030.

"We are currently navigating a complex situation," stated Nawal Arshad, who is working with fellow business leader Nitya Krishnamoorthy to launch the initiative.

"Technological advancements and artificial intelligence are increasingly impacting traditional job markets. Our education system isn't preparing young people with the skills necessary for future success.”

The comprehensive programme will offer everything from leadership courses for 10-year-olds to career coaching for young adults up to 24.

Nawal Arshad has assembled a team of experienced educators and industry professionals to deliver what she calls "personalised support tailored to each student's unique needs".

Key features include resilience training, critical and creative thinking workshops, Leadership and self-awareness development.

Each of these elements is delivered through what Nawal Arshad describes as "game-changing" interactive experiences that inspire personal transformation.

By engaging in real-life scenarios, participating in collaborative group projects, and taking part in reflective exercises, students will learn how to make informed decisions and collaborate effectively with their peers.

The 13 years old and above course will be aligned with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Young Leaders Award.

A career coaching service will also use professional assessment tools including MBTI and Holland code testing to provide personalised guidance.
