A new travel-focused clothing and lifestyle shop is to open in Altrincham town centre.
Cheshire retailer Parasol is moving into the George Street unit occupied by Carphone Warehouse before it closed down in November 2018.
Founded in Alderley Edge in 2016, Parasol will be opening in October once renovation works on the unit have completed.
According to its website, Parasol works "tirelessly to source a globally curated selection of travel focused accessories, lifestyle, clothing and gifting products".
Brands sold through its website currently include Birkenstock, Fjällräven, Barbour, Patagonia and Carhartt WIP.
Parasol Retail Ltd, the company behind the new shop, also owns a number of other brands including Manchester menswear retailer Yards Store and, next door, the UK's first Fjällräven store.
James Tootle, Head of Leisure and Retail at Bruntwood which co-owns the Stamford Quarter shopping precinct with Trafford Council, said: "We are delighted to be welcoming Parasol and their travel-focussed lifestyle store to the Stamford Quarter.
"We can confirm that the brand will be taking the old Carphone Warehouse unit on George Street, which is set to open in October.
"As an exciting local, independent business with a highly considered range and concept they will bring something unique to the neighbourhood. We look forward to bringing you more news of their arrival on our flourishing high street very soon."
