Heritage Healthcare has beaten more than 30 Altrincham shops and businesses to win this year's Winter Windows Competition with a display described as "charming and original".
The Goose Green business impressed judges Paula Garth, Community Liaison and Events, and Emily Dixon, Graphic Designer at OYEZ Arts, with two wooden cut-out reindeers flanking the entrance and contrasting comedy reindeer on the doors.
Paula and Emily explained: "The most impactful entries were those who had made a real home-made effort. After much deliberation our winner had to be Heritage Healthcare.

"The two wooden cut out carousel-style reindeers either side of the entrance are so charming and original and were clearly made with care and attention to detail. We also all had a good giggle at the contrasting comedy reindeer on the doors, you have to see them to appreciate it!"
Hill & Co on Market Street was named runner-up for their traditional doorway arch of greenery and lights with a beautiful wreath. The judges praised the "very Dickensian" look on "such a fabulous building", noting that the company's logo even featured on the baubles.
Special mentions went to Randalls Jewellers for "incredible efforts, originality, flare and hospitality", Bar Etna for "subtly bringing a little bit of Sicily to Altrincham with a message of peace and unity this Christmas", and Hill and Hill The Jewellers for their "absolutely spectacular display of lights".
Organised by Altrincham BID, the team behind VisitAltrincham.com, this year's competition saw over 30 Altrincham shops and businesses create imaginative window displays to brighten the town centre in the run up to Christmas.

Randalls Jewellers, Hill & Hill The Jewellers, Hill & Company Solicitors and Bar Etna were also singled out by the judges
Mandy White, Altrincham BID Director, said: "Altrincham is a fantastic place to celebrate Christmas, with the renowned Altrincham Market and Market House, an inspiring selection of independents and a strong mix of well-known brands.
"The Winter Windows competition adds to the atmosphere and showcases the creativity of our brilliant business community. We encourage everyone to come into Altrincham, enjoy the displays and support local this Christmas.
"A big thank you to Emily and Paula and a special thanks to Sam and Ivo from Share Your Story for supporting us with the photography for this year's competition."
Paula and Emily added: "The standard of creativity in Altrincham is always incredibly high, and the Winter Windows competition is a wonderful example of how proudly the town presents itself at Christmas. It has been a real pleasure to be involved."
Visitors can look forward to a full programme of festive events in the town, starting with tomorrow's Christmas Lights Switch On.
The Lantern Parade and Nativity Journey will follow on Saturday 13th December, and Carols from King's Court on Thursday 18th December.
The Celebrate Christmas in Altrincham 2025 guide is available from locations across the town including the Library and OYEZ Arts.
