There's a packed week of fun coming to Altrincham this Halloween half-term.
Altrincham BID, who produce Visit Altrincham, has organised a series of events including a free family town trail sponsored by Everyman Altrincham, children’s Spooky Silent Discos with ‘Our Kids Social’, and much more.
The trail takes place from Tuesday 24th to Sunday 29th October (10am-4pm). Pick up a trail sheet from the café bar at Everyman Altrincham and find the ghosts and ghouls hiding in the shop and businesses around Altrincham. Solve the clues to find the special Halloween word for a chance to win a family ticket to the Everyman.
There will also be fancy dress Spooky Silent Discos, where ghosts and ghouls are welcome, on Thursday 26th October at the Best Western Cresta Court Hotel. There are two sessions taking place at 11:30am-12:30pm and 1-2pm, tickets are just £5.95 per person and include the disco and themed games with prizes. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.co.uk - the 11.30am event here and the 1pm session here.
Other events happening around the town include free family craft workshops in the Stamford Quarter, Carve & Cook with Bounceback Foods at Altrincham Market, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the Altrincham Garrick Playhouse, Spooktacular Read & Make and Storytime sessions at Waterstones and Kids’ Spooky Karaoke at Alibi.
There is also a choice of October half term holiday clubs including Sew Creative and Octopia–GAPA half term workshops at the Altrincham Garrick Playhouse.
