Shiver me timbers! Altrincham's popular town trail is back for Easter - and this time there's a pirates and princesses theme.
Organised by Altrincham BID, the Pirates & Princesses Town Trail will take place from Thursday 28th March to Sunday 7th April (10am-4pm).
The pirates and princesses are on a quest to discover the hidden coins scattered throughout the town - your challenge is to see how many coins can you find, and crack the quiz questions along the way?
Pick up Treasure Trail Maps from Everyman Altrincham on George Street, and participants are free to dress up if they so wish!
Upon completing the quest, all intrepid adventurers are invited to return to Everyman Altrincham, where a well-deserved reward awaits, as well as the chance to win a family pass to the Everyman or a family ticket to see ‘Treasure Island’ at the Altrincham Garrick Playhouse.
Everyman Altrincham and Foster with Trafford, Trafford Council’s fostering service, are sponsoring the Pirates and Princesses Town Trail.
Mandy White, Altrincham BID Director, said: “The town trails are a great way for families to enjoy Altrincham and all it has to offer during the school holidays."
"We would encourage everyone to come into the town – there’s so much going on."
Other activities around the town centre include Read and Make at Waterstones, Teen Fashion Week at Sew Creative, Good Friday Easter Crafts at St George’s Church, Musical Theatre Holiday Club at Aura Music Academy, Easter Egg Hunt and Craft with Bounceback Food and much more.
James Singleton, Venue Manager at Everyman Altrincham, added: “We’re really excited to be sponsoring the trail with Foster with Trafford. We look forward to welcoming lots of families to the cinema this Easter holidays, both existing and new visitors. We have a great programme of entertainment planned.”
