The Pumpkin Patch at Dunham Massey Farm Ice Cream returns this weekend - but this year there's a difference.
The popular event is back for the autumn, with an incredible 50,000 pumpkins sown across 12 acres of the farm.
It will open this Saturday and run until Halloween on October 31st - and due to the expected high demand, organisers have set up a booking system to ensure that the farm does not get too overcrowded.
This year's pumpkins have been moved by hand to the picking patch, which this autumn will also incorporate six-foot sunflowers and form a spooky scavenger hunt.
There will also be more food options than usual, including The Little Red Pizza Co, Thyme & Season and Extreme Coffee.
And of course there will also be the ice cream parlour permanently located at the farm, with special Halloween-themed flavours.
Rick Pennington, the fourth generation farmer at Ash Farm where Dunham Massey Ice Cream Farm is located on Station Road, said this year's Pumpkin Patch was "unique".
"It's a patch with a bit of a difference," he said. "Our pumpkins have done really well this year but it's been very hard work given the weather.
"A lot of people have lost their crops and we have had to nurture them very closely to keep on top of the slugs.
"We can't wait to welcome everyone down to the farm for a fantastic Pumpkin Patch this year."
