Altrincham Football Club is set to host two large-scale concerts featuring multi-million-selling artists next year.

The club has announced it has partnered with Max Eden of Cheshire Concerts - who created the Hale Barns Carnival and Bowdonbury events - to create the ‘proudly Altrincham’ events, to be staged at The J. Davidson Stadium across one weekend in May 2025.

Alongside the as-yet-unnamed major stars, the concerts will also support grass-roots musicians and local performers.

It's the first time the stadium will be used to stage concerts of this size, and will represent a new income stream for the club, as well as other local businesses.

The club will be holding a consultation open evening on October 29th, from 6-8pm, to share its plans with the local community and hear any feedback.

The event will take place in the John King Sponsors' Lounge at The J. Davidson Stadium.

Samantha Mackenzie, CEO of Altrincham FC, said: “These concerts represent a unique opportunity for the club to give back to the community and bring something truly special to Altrincham.

"We’re incredibly excited about working with Max Eden of Cheshire Concerts to not only bring world-class entertainment to the area but also to boost our local economy and enhance community spirit.

"We look forward to working hand-in-hand with local residents to ensure these events are a resounding success for everyone involved.”
