A very special tribute to Take That is coming to Hale this summer

It's all happening on Tuesday 14th July.

More than 100 musicians and singers will descend on Hale this summer for a large-scale reimagining of Take That's best-known songs, performed by a full symphony orchestra and a massed choir.

An Orchestral & Choral Tribute to Take That takes place at St Peter's Church, Hale, on Tuesday 14th July, pairing the Paradox Orchestra with four choirs drawn from across the region.

The line-up of singers includes The Music Place Choir and Sing It! Youth Choir, both from Altrincham, alongside the Oldham Music Service Choir and Artful Voices Choir from Sale.

Together they will perform orchestral arrangements of the band's catalogue, from its bigger anthems to its quieter ballads. Soloists Martin Connor and Alison Owen will also feature.

Organisers say the church's acoustics and setting are central to the evening, with the aim of blending pop familiar to most audiences with a more classical, orchestral sound. They describe it as a night likely to appeal both to long-standing Take That fans and to anyone coming to the songs fresh.

Organisers say the night will be packed full of "emotion, nostalgia, and musical brilliance".
