Altrincham's Stamford Square will play host to a season-long line-up of music, food and community events this summer, with Manchester music collective Nite School providing the soundtrack every weekend.
The programme launched last weekend with sets from Nite School DJs Skippy and Rúadh, alongside free gelato samples from Alty favourites Nell's Pizza - and there's plenty more to come over the next few weeks.
What's on in July
- 17 & 18 July – Nite School resident DJs return to the square
- 25 July – The Stamford Quarter Picnic, with live music from Nite School, food and drink from Nell's Pizza, family-friendly activities and decor from Søstrene Grene
- 31 July & 1 August – Nite School resident DJs
Manchester-born natural wine brand Loco Wines will also pop up in Stamford Square across the first two weekends of August, with more events and pop-ups to be announced as the summer goes on.

The Kiosk
A new addition is coming to the heart of the square: The Kiosk, a purpose-built wooden hub that will host a rotating line-up of independent food and drink traders.
The first trader announcements are expected in the coming weeks, and independents interested in using the space for pop-ups or activations can get in touch at team.stamfordquarter@bruntwood.co.uk.
August Bank Holiday street party
The summer will culminate in a large-scale August Bank Holiday street party, promising live music, games and activities, and food and drink from The Kiosk's line-up of traders. The full bill will be revealed nearer the time.
Stamford Quarter, part of Bruntwood and Trafford Council's joint venture to regenerate Altrincham town centre, is home to independents and national names including Nell's Pizza, Yum Cha, Rituals, Crew Clothing and LOOKFANTASTIC, as well as the Foundation workspace with its 375 sq m living green wall.
