A Disney classic is coming to the Altrincham Garrick Playhouse next week.
The Little Mermaid opens at the Barrington Road theatre on Monday 25th October and runs until Sunday 31st, with matinees at 2.30pm and 4pm on the Saturday and Suday respectively.
Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories and the classic animated 1989 film, Disney’s The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages.
Described by the Garrick as “the perfect musical treat for October half-term”, the show is directed by Joseph Meighan, with musical direction by Mark Goggins and choreography by Koda Holland-Smith.
With music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, The Little Mermaid includes songs such as Under the Sea, Kiss the Girl and Part of Your World.
