It’s been confirmed that the new Altrincham Interchange will open on Sunday.
Although work on the £19m interchange is still ongoing, Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has confirmed that it will open from 7am on December 7th.
Just two days ago TfGM was still unable to officially confirm when the interchange would open, and even people working on the site were under the impression that it would open on Monday.
However, although the lifts are not finished and the cycle hub is not ready yet, the interchange will finally be open to the public from Sunday.
