Volunteers are being sought for another litter pick in Altrincham this Sunday.
Local community organisation Our Altrincham, which is coordinating the clear-up, is asking people to spare a couple of hours on Sunday September 11th between 2 and 4pm.
Over 1,700 bags of litter have been removed by similar volunteer-led litter picks to date.
Sarah Walmsley, of Our Altrincham, said: “When you consider the volume of litter we have collected to date, I would dread to think how Altrincham would look if we didn’t have a dedicated and incredible team of volunteers who give up their time to make Altrincham a nicer area to live, work and enjoy.”
