A pensioner who went missing from her home in Bowdon has been found safe and well.
Valerie Nuttall, 73, was reported missing from the Grange Road area yesterday morning having been last seen at 9.30am.
A considerable search was launched by police and local people for Valerie, who suffers from dementia, focusing on the Bowdon, Hale, Altrincham and Ashton on Mersey areas.
However, she was eventually found in Stretford late last night and is understood to be well and unharmed, and back with her family.
