Here are all the Altrincham pubs and bars that will be staying open under Tier 3 restrictions

Greater Manchester entered Tier 3 lockdown restrictions today, and some of those most affected are local bar and pub owners.

That’s because pubs and bars can only remain open if they serve ‘substantial’ meals, which the government defines as “a main lunchtime or evening meal”, and alcohol can only be served as part of that meal.

Sadly, that’s meant that some bars and pubs in Altrincham have had to temporarily close their doors as they don’t have a food offer that qualifies.

However, there are many bars and pubs in Altrincham that are carrying on, while conforming to the new rules.

We wanted to make it easy for Altrincham residents to know where’s still open, so we’ve rung round and scoured social channels to find out.
