Three men charged in connection with Hale street robberies

Three men have been charged in connection with a number of recent robberies in Hale. We’ve reported this year about a number of incidents on Hale streets when high-value watches and jewellery have been stolen during daylight robberies.

Three men have now been remanded in custody.

Niall Whittaker, 27, of Wisbech Drive in Northern Moor, has been charged with two counts of robbery, attempted robbery and handling. He’s due to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on November 19th.

Jack Meek, 25, of Tipton Drive in Northern Moor, has been charged with two counts of robbery and attempted robbery. He’ll appear at Manchester Crown Court on March 8th next year.

And 18-year-old Nathan Wellings, of Brundage Road in Wythenshawe, has been charged with two counts of robbery and attempted robbery. He was due to appear at Manchester Crown Court today.
