Homebird Interiors is to open a new Altrincham store tomorrow after moving to a larger town centre premises during the lockdown.

The original base, on Stamford New Road, was opened by sisters Miri Templeton and Darrell Whittaker in 2016.

But after a bigger unit became available on George Street, close to the Everyman Cinema, Homebird relocated and has been busy renovating the new shop.

New store manager, Marie Fry, said: “The new shop is much bigger and will give us the opportunity to showcase more of our fabulous furniture and home accessory ranges.

“We’re so grateful for the support of all our lovely Homebird customers and are proud to invest in Altrincham and be part of a vibrant retail community, where independent retailers are creating an amazing experience for shoppers.

“The Homebird concept was created with a vision to source well-designed products at great prices – from sofas and occasional chairs, dining room furniture and a carefully curated collection of decorative home accessories, soft furnishings and jewellery, all presented in a beautifully light and open store with friendly staff on had to assist.
