Work by Trafford College’s final year art students is to be displayed across Altrincham as part of an initiative led by Altrincham’s Business Improvement District (the BID).

Over 25 businesses and shops will be showing the art, which will be accompanied by information and a QR code allowing visitors to find out more and view the online digital gallery on Trafford College’s website.

The town-wide exhibition will be live during the first two weeks of July.

Jane Andrew, Head of Art & Design at Trafford College, said: “Last year’s hugely successful show was hosted online and for 2021 we wanted to find a way of creating an outdoor gallery.

The art trail will last from June 30th until July 14th

“We are really grateful to Altrincham BID and the town’s businesses for helping us to create this fabulous art trail.

“By visiting the college’s town wide art show you’ll be able to get a real sense of the fantastic quality of work that has been produced this year by our students.”

Kate Gerbich, Business & Communications Manager at Altrincham BID, added: “We were really pleased to be able to help Trafford College with this project, the college is such an integral part of the town, and we’re delighted that this year’s final year students will get to the display their work to a wider audience.”

The exhibition will be available for visitors to view from June 30 to July 14.

Participating businesses include Inch Arts, Moss Studio-Store, A-Plan Insurance, Laundry B, Sharps Bedroom, Gran T’s Coffee House, Toast, The Bottle Shop, Coffii22, Rankin Styles Interiors, BAP, Rhode Island, Altrincham Market, Jake Shoes and McHale & Co.
