In a bid to raise funds and expand the football club, Altrincham FC are opening their own Business Club ahead of the 2021/2022 football season.
The new scheme, which was used by last season’s National League champions Sutton United, aims to attract both local and multi-national investment while helping businesses of all sizes develop close links with one another.
Altrincham’s Business Club will hold regular networking events for members, with well-known guest speakers regularly hosting each grouping.
So far Anthony Taylor, Premier League and FIFA referee, and Jenny Powell, TV presenter and former Wheel of Fortune star, have already agreed to address the new members of the Business Club.
Standard membership for The Business Club comes at £40 per month, which includes access to all business networking events, free digital advertising on the Alty club website business club page, training and workshops, and discounted prices on Hospitality and Match-Day Tickets.
For a premium membership, which is an additional £20 per month, subscribers will receive all the benefits of normal membership plus two free season tickets and two boardroom guest passes for a home fixture of their choice.
Laurence Looney, Altrincham FC co-chairman, said: “It’s an exciting concept that we can’t wait to get off the ground, and I can’t stress enough how a warm welcome awaits businesses of all sizes.
“We’ve got lots of exciting ideas lined up, and it will be mutually beneficial for all who join, with regular networking and opportunities to broaden and expand business contacts and forge new friendships.”
Members will also be able to use the club’s exclusive business app, enabling respective businesses to stay connected and maintain mobile contact with the club.
