The Stamford Quarter’s Not So Secret Garden is to be transformed into a “vibrant, wildlife-themed garden” as part of a spring makeover.

First launched in June 2021 by Bruntwood Works, the revamp will include “high rise knitted flowers, larger than life butterflies and animal installations”, with a focus on “wildlife, nature and sustainability”.

There will also be a host of activities, entertainment and family fun to accompany the relaunch.

Between April 12th and 14th, the garden will be the start point for the ‘Hare & the Easter Eggs’ free treasure trail around the town, produced by Altrincham BID and sponsored by Bruntwood Works.

Then on Good Friday and Easter Saturday between 11am and 1pm, there will be a two-day family festival of entertainment and free Easter-themed workshops including Inch Art’s flower art canvas and hedgehog house building, and masterclasses from the Cheshire Beekeeper’s Association and Eco Warriors.

There will also be sessions to encourage mindfulness through nature by exploring the importance of self-care and being kind to our bodies by Just Relax.

Children will get the chance to pot their own plants to take away whilst focussing on positive affirmations and the significance of living a healthy, happy life.

All festival sessions can be booked here.
