The 76-home Thorley Glade development in Timperley will bring more than £800,000 in community contributions, according to the developer behind the scheme.
Miller Homes began work on the residential development in May on the former World of Pets site off Thorley Lane in Timperley, which received final planning approval in March.
Under the planning agreement with Trafford Borough Council, 45% of the homes will be designated as affordable housing through shared ownership or affordable rent arrangements.
The developer will also contribute approximately £200,000 towards local education provision, £35,000 towards the new Thorley Lane roundabout, and £590,000 through the Community Infrastructure Levy for wider community improvements.

The development comprises three, four and five-bedroom homes, with private properties starting from £624,995. All homes will include electric vehicle charging points and solar panels.
Clare Noakes, Sales Director for Miller Homes North West, said the development would "bring lasting benefits to the local community through affordable housing and vital infrastructure contributions."
The company is opening its sales cabin this Saturday, 8th November, with homes available to pre-reserve ahead of expected completions from early 2026.
