Miller Homes will open its show home at the Thorley Glade development in Timperley later this month, offering the first opportunity for the public to view completed properties at the site.
The homebuilder is hosting a launch event on Saturday, 28th March, between 11am and 4pm at the development on Thorley Lane, with the Mayor of Trafford expected to attend.
The show home is a five-bedroom detached property featuring an open-plan kitchen, dining and family area, separate lounge and study, and five bedrooms with two en-suites. The development includes a mix of three, four and five-bedroom homes.
Construction began on the 76-home scheme in May last year on the former World of Pets site. Under the planning agreement with Trafford Borough Council, 45% of homes are designated as affordable housing.
The development will generate £825,000 in Section 106 contributions towards local infrastructure, education provision and community facilities. This includes approximately £200,000 for education, £35,000 for the Thorley Lane roundabout, and £590,000 through the Community Infrastructure Levy.
